Every battle is won or lost before it is ever fought.
A competitive strategy game of scouting, preparation and programmable tactics, on a world that is different every match. Coming to PC on Steam.
The strategy is the game
Hex of Fate is a competitive 1v1 strategy game where knowledge, preparation and foresight decide the winner. Two players start at opposing castles on a fog-covered hex world generated fresh for every match. You scout, capture towns for income, and build armies, but you do not micromanage them. You choose their composition, set their formation, give them their orders, and send them out. When armies meet, the battle plays out from the preparation each player brought to it, and what remains of the victorious army moves on.
No reflex tax. No memorised build orders on a memorised map. Just you, an unknown world, and an opponent doing exactly what you are doing: preparing, predicting and out-thinking.
A new world every match.
Every map is generated at runtime from a shared seed: terrain, rivers, roads, towns and secrets. Scouting matters because nobody has seen this world before.
Armies with orders, not units with micro.
Compose your force from the five Core Classes, set its formation, and program its tactics. Then watch your plan meet theirs.
Every loss is a lesson.
Battles are deterministic: same state, same orders, same result. Replay any fight, see exactly why it went the way it did, and come back sharper.
From the prototype

Prototype footage. Map and battle art is placeholder while the loop was proven; the units below show where the art is going.
Hand-drawn, frame by frame
Every unit in Hex of Fate is hand-drawn pixel art, animated frame by frame, standing on a 3D world generated at runtime. No stock assets, nothing derivative, no AI: original art and lore, made the slow way.

From first sketch to the game: the Death Knight, the Demon Prince, and the Nightmare's attack, the body splitting open along the spine.
